The Warrington Township Historic Commission

  • Established by the Board of Supervisors, February 24, 2998
  • Initially 5 members; expanded to 7 members

The Warrington Historical Society

  • Formed by WHC in June 2007.
  • Independent (non-municipal) tax-exempt organization, to help with the solicitation of contributions and grants.

     The mission of the Society:

    • To locate, acquire, preserve, and exhibit any articles, documents, photographs, papers, artifacts, and other items of historic, cultural, or educational value that pertain to Warrington Township.
    • To develop educational materials for use with schools/public and promote recognition of the history and development of Warrington Township.
    • To restore and maintain the 10 Folly Road/County Line Road School House for use as a headquarters/museum/storage for the Society.
