About the Society

The Warrington Township Historic Commission
- Established by the Board of Supervisors, February 24, 2998
- Initially 5 members; expanded to 7 members
The Warrington Historical Society
- Formed by WHC in June 2007.
- Independent (non-municipal) tax-exempt organization, to help with the solicitation of contributions and grants.
The mission of the Society:
- To locate, acquire, preserve, and exhibit any articles, documents, photographs, papers, artifacts, and other items of historic, cultural, or educational value that pertain to Warrington Township.
- To develop educational materials for use with schools/public and promote recognition of the history and development of Warrington Township.
- To restore and maintain the 10 Folly Road/County Line Road School House for use as a headquarters/museum/storage for the Society.
